- Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your Arusha location. Enjoy the scenic drive as you travel towards the park, passing traditional villages and experiencing the fresh African air. Park Entry and Briefing: Upon arrival at the park, you'll go through entry formalities and receive a briefing from your guide about the day's itinerary, safety regulations, and the park's unique features. Embark on a Game Drive: Buckle up in your open-sided 4WD vehicle and embark on an exciting adventure through the diverse landscapes of Lake Manyara. Witnessing Diverse Wildlife: Lake Manyara's "signature" residents: Keep an eye out for the park's iconic tree-climbing lions(rarely seen), often relaxing on the branches of acacia trees. Other mammals: Expect to encounter a variety of animals, including elephants, zebras, wildebeests, giraffes, warthogs, baboons, and blue monkeys. Birdlife: The park boasts over 400 bird species, with a chance to spot beautiful birds like the lilac-breasted roller, the African fish eagle, and various birds of prey.
